Since 1977, the Rapid City Journal has selected an All-State baseball team, recognizing the talents of some of the best baseball players to pass through the state. Pierre Post 8 has had 24 players represented on the squad. More impressively, however, is that 23 of those have been honored in the last 13 years. Outside of Rapid City Post 22, Post 8 ranks among the top in all-state players over the past ten years. Note: Players are listed at the positions they were named to the team as. Some players may have been listed at different spots in order to accomodate the squad.
